- Stay in your budget, there are lot of ways for you to find deals on everything for your wedding, including using Snazzylime for your invitations! :)
- Order 10-15 more invitations than you need. You may tear one, lose one, or want a couple for keepsakes.
- Remember to calculate postage into your budget.
- Put postage on return envelopes or RSVP postcard
- Spell names right… & include all prefixes.
- Invite partners (live in girlfriends or boyfriends) of guests & include their name on the invitation.
- Call those people who haven’t RSVP’d by a week of the date.
- Email or FaceBook your wedding invitation, Tacky.
- Put your registry information with your invitation. It in in poor taste….. it should be put on bridal shower invitations. And spread around by family members and friends… people know to ask around. It would be easier, but you woill get no less gifts this way. Take this advice… and leave it to word of mouth.
- Print addresses on labels for the envelopes. These should be handwritten.
- Stuff your invitations before you write addresses on them.
- Don’t write, “no children” on your invitations. Simply address it to the individuals who the invitation is for… Example: Instead of Mr. Michael Leary & Family (they assume the children are invited) put Mr. & Mrs. Michael Leary.
- Don’t forget to send your officiant an invitation.
- Give up on your vision cause its too pricey… find close alternatives… guests will never notice the difference!
