I was sitting here thinking and this is what I thought… I thought that I should start thinking about posting some business-y posts, what do you think? Here goes:
As a young business starter upper I have A LOT to learn about making connections… creativity… and overall business-savvyness. I have quite a few connections with great people here in OKC, and I hope to get many more over time. I have meetings coming up with some of them… These are great people to get involved with too, WAHOO! I just hope I make a great impression and they will just think I’m so cool and want to work with me! #sorrythatwasunprofessional. :)
I feel like I have gotten much better at coming up with IDEAS for Snazzylime to get involved in, for example, I’m coming out with a new product here in the next couple months. And selling for a limited time, or maybe every few months? #stillbrainstormin.
Having been a business major… I think I have most of the basics down! But, when it comes down to it, every business is different and I’m learning that not EVERY tactic works in EVERY venture. Especially one like mine. I have decided to run Snazzylime my way.
:) Traditionally… Sometimes. Thoughtfully…Always. Simply… Yes.
I don’t want to confuse clients with a buncha mumbo-jumbo. For instance in a contract. I want to keep it simple. Come to think of it, I have a basic understanding on how to put together a contract for services provided. #moreintheworksofcourse. One of the main things I’m taking from a business book I’m thumbing through right now…is “always protect yourself” #OKiwill. And THAT applies to the initial agreement between clients and Snazzy. Risky Business. One of these days… I will have it all down and realize I am but green in deed. #Thanks,Shakespeare.
So, I just thought… maybe I should think about bringing this thoughtful blog to a close.
